Creamy, fruity and naturally sweet, this raspberry and coconut protein smoothie is a delicious way to enjoy approximately 30 g of protein alongside fibre-rich fruit and vegetables. Blend it as a smoothie or make it extra thick and add your favourite toppings for a satisfying smoothie bowl.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup frozen raspberries
  • ½ cup frozen zucchini
  • ¼ cup desiccated or shredded coconut
  • ½–1 cup coconut milk
  • 1½ scoops FloFit Vanilla Protein Powder, providing approximately 30 g of protein

    * serves 1

Instructions:

  1. For the creamiest texture, chop the zucchini and freeze it overnight.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender, beginning with ½ cup of coconut milk.
  3. Blend until smooth, gradually adding more coconut milk until you reach your preferred consistency.
  4. For a smoothie bowl, use less milk to create a thicker consistency and add your favourite toppings.

If you are in a pinch and the craving cannot wait, use fresh zucchini and add a large handful of ice instead. If you experience bloating or digestive discomfort, try lightly steaming and cooling the zucchini before freezing it.

Smoothie Bowl Topping Ideas

  • Chopped almonds, walnuts or macadamias
  • Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds or hemp seeds
  • Chia seeds or ground flaxseeds
  • Fresh or frozen raspberries
  • Sliced banana
  • Cacao nibs
  • Toasted coconut flakes
  • A drizzle of nut or seed butter
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon
