Choc-Mint Protein Bars

A nourishing snack that fits beautifully into a PCOS-supportive lifestyle, this recipe pairs satisfying flavour with ingredients chosen to help minimise blood sugar spikes. It’s a smarter sweet option that supports steady energy and hormonal balance.

Ingredients:

  • 200g almond butter
  • 1 tbsp monk fruit syrup
  • 1 scoop Flo Fit Choc Protein Powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 120g rolled oats
  • 2.5mL peppermint essence
  • 50mL almond milk
  • 40g dark chocolate chips or dark choc bar, broken into chunks

Instructions:

  1. Line a square tin with baking paper and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond butter, monk fruit syrup and almond milk until smooth.
  3. Add rolled oats, FloFit Protein Powder, cocoa powder and peppermint essence.
  4. Mix well until fully combined.
  5. Press mixture firmly into the lined tin.
  6. Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle over the top.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then slice and serve (and try not to eat them all at once).
